Pricing questions
What counts as a team member?
Anyone with an active account in your workspace — managers, staff and part-timers. Standard fits teams of up to 50; if you have more, Large has everything Standard does with no cap.
Is it priced per person or per location?
Neither — it is per workspace, which is one bar or restaurant. There is no per-employee fee, so adding staff to a plan never changes the price. If you run more than one place, each has its own workspace and plan.
Do text messages cost extra?
No. Push, email and text-message notifications are all included. Each person chooses which they want to receive.
What happens when the free trial ends?
You will hear from us before it does. An owner chooses a plan — it takes about a minute. If no one does, there is a 7-day grace period, after which the workspace is limited until an owner picks a plan. Nothing is ever deleted.
Can I cancel, and do you offer refunds?
Cancel any time from Manage billing and keep access through the period you have already paid for. Monthly plans are not refundable. On a yearly plan you can ask for a prorated refund of the unused time — email support@workrota.app and we will review it.
Are the prices before tax?
Yes. Prices are before sales tax. Where tax applies to your location it is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown before you pay.
How do I pay, and can I switch plans?
By card, through Stripe — card details never touch our servers. You can update your card, see invoices and change plan or billing period from Manage billing, or email support@workrota.app and we will do it for you.
Is there a setup fee or a contract?
No setup fee and no contract. Monthly plans renew month to month; yearly plans renew once a year. Cancel before a renewal and you will not be charged again.
